Elizabeth was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts with concentrations in Psychology, Sociology, and Geography. Prior to her move to Marietta in 2013, she served as a Court Appointed Special Advocated for the local Baton Rouge chapter of CASA.
Elizabeth began her legal career working in real estate law. After many years serving as Team Lead and receiving recurring accolades of highest producer and Employee of the Month at major law firms in Buckhead and Dunwoody, Elizabeth transition into family law and joined The Cherry Law Firm, P.C. in 2020. Her experience with CASA, strong work ethic, and focus on early childhood development has accelerated her success in family law. She enjoys helping clients navigate the difficulties and stress of their case and is passionate about the welfare of children. Serving as the Senior Paralegal to Diane Cherry and The Cherry Law Firm, P.C., Elizabeth manages the firm's calendar and oversees our most heavily litigated cases.
While Elizabeth greatly misses the amazing food and personalities of her home state of Louisiana, she is proud to call Marietta her home and to serve our local community. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, frequenting local antique and vintage shops, cheering on the Braves, and spending time with her husband and their cats
