I am a native of Blue Ridge, Georgia. After High School, I continued my education at Young Harris College, obtaining an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts. I went on to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Law from the University of North Georgia. I am earned my Juris Doctor degree from Atlanta's John Marshal Law School. I began practicing law in my hometown following my admittance to the bar. This experience gave me a first-hand experience of the impact I could have representing friends and family members in family law matters. Clients involved in family law cases often feel as if they are at the lowest points of their lives. I take these matters very seriously because I understand the far-reaching implications these cases have for clients and their families. I have a strong sense of the importance of practicing family law and the every day effects that these cases can have in the lives of those going through them. Growing up the son of a banker and a land surveyor, I spent a significant amount of time during my formative years experiencing and interacting with the law in a variety of ways. As a result, I developed a practical approach to dealing with legal issues of all kinds. I enjoy using this experience to help clients handle their legal issues in specifically tailored ways.
